Kloe and I went on a little hike today. We went to the top of the Y, Then from the top there is a trail that heads to the south and then up behind Y mountain. It supposedly takes you up to some big beautiful valley behind Y mountain, or you can keep heading south and it ends up in Slate canyon. I would like to conquer both of these trails this summer. I knew that we would not get very far today because of our lovely snowy spring. We made it about 30 minutes past the Y when the trail became too muddy and over grown with oak brush. Anywho...if anyone would like to join me on that hike feel free. I have been told that it is about a 5 hour hike. However I was told that the Y was a two hour hike and that's preposterous!!
