So last night we got home too late to collide our doggie worlds, therefore Kloe stayed in the house last night. Thanks to Kurt & Val for letting us borrow their kennel. She was such a good girl. I put her in the kennel and I think she was asleep before I even closed the door. She got up whining at about 2 am. I let her outside to go potty and she came right back in and went right back to sleep and not another peep until morning! So this afternoon we gave Copper the good news... that he gets to spend the rest of his days with a new lady friend. He was not so sure in the beginning but as the day went on he actually became very protective of her. Tonight when I went out to swat her for whining, she would hide in her house and Copper would stand between me and her kennel... He's a good doggie, we love him and hope he's with us for a long time!! He will be 13 next month. I can't believe I've had him that long. I LOVE THAT DOG!! As we were out playing with them tonight I can't help but see Copper as this old man next to a brand new puppy. We're super glad that he is not aggressive at all. He's very passive with her... So far. Hopefully he keeps that attitude.
Kloe's favorite spot. Snuggling in for a nap
